I had a 50+ year old shed on a 3" concrete slab in my backyard that needed removing. In researching debris removal, I saw that Barten did shed removal. They arrived the same day to give an immediate estimate and were there two days later to do the demolition. They were communicative and extremely thorough. Even though I had labeled everything that I want removed with blue painters tape, they still double checked on items they felt I may have mislabeled. They left all 3 floors broom clean. July 2026: This company truly handles everything! No job is too big or too small for Barten Bros to want to jump in and help a customer out. What started as a mysterious hole in the asphalt of my driveway (which thankfully didn’t require additional attention), to “oh by the way, can you help us with a bowing fence and install a retaining wall?” These guys do everything! And once again, to say we were pleased with the finished product, is an absolute understatement. Our retaining wall project was long overdue so the crew at Barten Bros jumped in and knocked it out. They were meticulous, efficient, and incredibly thorough. Aside from the excellent work they do, what stands out most is how committed they are to their community and their customers. They genuinely care about the people they work for and put customer satisfaction at the top of their list. Thank you to the entire crew at Barten Bros for another great experience with top notch results!

May 2025: Barten Bros helped me out in a pinch. They were able to remove a heavy piece of furniture for me and were also able to transfer other furniture from a POD in my driveway to my basement, and all for a very small fee. The crew was professional, arrived on time, and worked quickly. My only complaint is the pricing. They don’t provide the final price until everything is loaded because they charge based on how much space your items take up in the truck. I ended up paying $445 for my load, which was much higher than I expected. For around the same price, I realized afterward that I likely could have rented a 10-yard dumpster, filled it with even more debris over a few days, and gotten much better value. If you use this company, I’d recommend getting a firm price before they start loading so there are no surprises.

We used Barten Brothers to rent a dumpster for house clean up. The process was painless. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful.

I had an issue trying to approve the contract because for some reason the button to click was not showing up in my email on my phone. I called the office and the person I spoke with helped me get the approval done.

Called Barten Bros immediately after being told by PC Richard our old fridge was too large to remove from our basement. Was immediately told over the phone Barten Bros would figure it out and can be to our house to assess within a few hours.

Within 5 minutes of assessing the job, Mike & Miguel told me they could get it out and could get started asap. Within 20 minutes the fridge was removed.

Mike & Miguel truly could not have been a bigger help.
Not only have we used them recently for basic excess garbage removal from a house Reno (where they arrived shortly after we called), they came immediately after we called them this time too.
We had ordered a new fridge from PC Richard that included haul away of an old, large fridge. After 2 attempts, PC Richard’s guys insisted it couldn’t be done. Once Mike from Barten Bros arrived, within minutes he assured us, “it can be done”

What an amazing experience. After the snow and ice storm we just had and trying to clear it myself I realized I needed help. I reached out to Barton Brothers and spoke with Dawn. I explained my situation and she was so helpful and answered all my questions. I was shocked that only a matter of moments after speaking to her I received a text stating they were on their way. I had thought I'd likely have to wait most of the day for them to come like most contractors but no I was wrong. After the text I went out to move my car and here they were already coming around the corner. I was shocked and elated all at the same time. There were 3 guys who came. The one gentleman I spoke with the most was Alex. What a great guy. He was so gracious. The guys started to work right away. They were so thorough and did such an amazing job. Where do I start…. Well honestly thats what we all said when we needed to have our giant 3 story property cleaned out for a sale and time was winding down. After knowing the owner Andrew for a few years we knew Barten Brothers were the guys to get the job done.
We scheduled the cleanout and immediately received text message confirmation of the booking. Two days before the job we recieved a phone call reminding us of the appointment with a window of arrival. The day of the job the Barten Brothers Team showed up on the jobsite promptly at 8am which was the beginning of there alloted window of arrival.
Andrew assured me he had the tools, crew and equipment to complete the job and not to worry. The crew immediately began working to remove all of the contents of the property being sure not to damage any walls, railings or corners of the house.
Everytime I would turn around another room was completed. It wasn’t long before the guys had cleaned out the entire property even sweeping up after themselves and double checking to make sure the customer (me) was satisfied and the job was completed.

They are not a pop up junk removal business, they can and do many services and are highly equipped to take on a variety of challenges. Andrew and every crew member that has serviced our home has been pleasant and professional. They have gone above and beyond on a few occasions helping us stay on track with a full house renovation when we’ve hit obstacles, like the unpredicted need to pull a masonry staircase! Barten Bros. Junk Removal, Demolition, Site Work & Fencing does what they advertise. They come on time as agreed, take whatever you point to (no matter large, heavy or light & small) and take it away at a fair price previously agreed. They do this politely and are carefull about not nicking walls. They also take credit cards right on the spot, when they are done..
I will definitely call them again for additional "stuff" I want to discard, as they make it, very easy. Thank you Barten Bros.for a great service.

I paid for a dumpster drop off and removal. The process was straightforward and they saved me money by suggesting how big of a dumpster I needed for my items. Although the dumpster did arrive outside my scheduled time window they communicated with me throughout and the process was seamless. Would recommend!

There's no other choice if you need a mover. They go above and beyond to help. They even moved a trampoline on foot from one home to the other. If you only saw that video 😜 And I've had a few times where my sellers had to do a clean out of there home or shed within hours prior to closing and they came without hesitation. I had the pleasure of working with Barten Bros and I can't praise them enough!! At 12 PM, I reached out to them, and by 2:55 PM, they were already en route to my place to tackle a massive pile of junk in my backyard. By 3:55 PM, they were done and I was texting Raven to say THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING CREW! They exceeded my expectations!! My backyard was cluttered with everything from a futon cushion to old roofing shingles, plywood, chairs, and tables - you name it, it was in that pile. Look no further — Barten Bros is who to call for junk removal in Monmouth/Ocean Counties. They responded with a pickup within 24 hours and did a professional, courteous job. Work was completed in 30 minutes! And their pricing is easy to understand (priced by the size of the truckload (ie full, half, etc) so there’s no funny business.
